You could spend years observing the internet and all of the changes that it has gone through and be forgiven for asking this seemingly simple question. The answer that you receive is likely to as different as each page of the internet itself, although there will be some corresponding themes. However, there is no definitive answer to this one. It is purely a matter of personal taste, needs and views.

So here is my view: what I think makes a good internet site. I have been building websites on a commercial basis since 1995 and have been surfing the Net for a good few years before then.
